Thanks to Tesco and to all who supported us with their blue token when shopping in Tescos. A cheque for St. Josephs GNS was presented to our HSCL Elaine last week.

Enrolment for Junior Infants for September 2024 takes place between Monday Jan 8th – Wednesday Jan 24th.   Please call to the office to collect application form between 9am and 2pm or email the school at admin@stjosephsgns.ie to receive application by post. Closing date for application Wednesday January 24th 2024

Junior Infants enjoying playing in our playground. We have created a lovely space where children can have fun building with blocks, with the polydron set, playing with sand, cooking in our outdoor pretend kitchen, playing on our slide and swing and much more. All classes look forward to their time to play in this area.

During October both 3 rd classes took part in the Art Blast programme. The girls worked with artist Marta to create ceramic self portrait tiles. Everyone really enjoyed the workshops and got to experience the clay making process from planning to end product.

Our school has been chosen for the Tesco Community Fund in Portlaoise. If you are shopping in the store, we would really appreciate if you would vote for us with your blue token. The more tokens we receive the larger share of the donation we receive. We are grateful to Tesco for making this possible.
